International Polo Tour® Expands Collaboration with Web3 Leader FAIM.WORLD Ahead of September 19 Sunset Polo™

LEESBURG, VA, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The International Polo Tour®, as part of its upcoming Sunset Polo™ White Lotus 250th Anniversary Polo Cup set for Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center in Leesburg, Virginia, has announced new additions to its on going collaboration with FAIM.WORLD, a web3 developer specializing in the creation of digital collectibles for fans to enjoy for life.

Team Captain Tareq Salahi officially signed today the first collectible in the new collection, utilizing an updated autograph engine developed by FAIM.WORLD to expedite fan engagement and access to authenticated digital memorabilia. Since the partnership initially began, the platform has welcomed numerous celebrities and public figures, all of whom had the opportunity to securely sign photos and fan‑submitted images from anywhere in the world.

“We are incredibly excited to announce the next steps in our partnership with FAIM.WORLD’s team, a bond built on a shared interest not just in enhancing fan experiences, but bringing polo’s historical legacy into the modern tech age,” said Tareq Salahi. “As we approach our annual Sunset Polo™, an event rooted in philanthropy, culture, and love for ‘The Sport of Kings,’ we are eager to share everything we have been designing behind the scenes with our loyal fans.”

Through the partnership, fans will gain access to authenticated digital collectibles, signed celebrity images via FAIM Ink, domain storage, tokens and digital games on a global scale. The connection was established during last year’s Sunset Polo™ against South Africa, becoming a key aspect of the night’s celebrations.

“Immortalizing fandom and exciting experiences is exactly what FAIM.WORLD was founded on, and we are thankful to the IPT team for allowing us to continue being part of their tremendous network,” said CEO Dana Farbo. “When we originally learned about the IPT’s work and their contributions to charity We Will Survive Cancer, we instantly wanted to contribute to their efforts. These collectibles were born from that promise, and we can’t wait for people to celebrate polo together this September while uplifting care for those battling cancer.”

Presented during America’s historic 250th anniversary, this year’s Sunset Polo™ White Lotus 250th Anniversary Polo Cup will unite international polo, American and Thai culture, luxury hospitality, music, cuisine and philanthropy in support of We Will Survive Cancer (WWSC), an organization devoted to helping families struggling with cancer diagnoses by providing childcare, transportation, counseling, and household assistance. Proceeds from this year’s event will go directly to WWSC, aiding their national and even global work building resilience in under-supported communities.

This year’s event will also welcome His Excellency Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United States, with the event festivities including a Celebrity All Star Polo Match (including icons like the NFL’s Tim Johnson and Josh Norman (also a finalist on ABCs Dancing with the Stars), NFLs Tim Johnson and Team USA vs Thailand, and the now-annual International Polo Tour Crypto Cup held in association with FAIM.WORLD. The final game will also be held in memory of Stuart Allen Weinstein-Bacal, an avid polo supporter and friend to the greater DC area who succumbed to cancer this February.

The IPT has also launched new tailgate spaces for Sunset Polo, offering what organizers describe as one of the event’s best values and most social ways to experience the event. Tailgate guests will enjoy their own designated entertaining space adjacent to the action and may bring personal pop-up tents, décor, food and refreshments. Friends, families, neighbors and corporate groups may also reserve adjoining spaces to create larger shared hospitality areas.
