German-Iranian DJ and producer Namito is celebrating 30 years of music production (1996–2026), marking a career that has helped shape electronic music while bringing Persian culture to dance floors around the world.

Since releasing his first productions in 1996, Namito has built a catalog of more than 400 tracks, performed in over 50 countries, and released music on renowned labels including Kompakt, Yoshitoshi, Bedrock, Systematic, Sol Selectas, and his own imprint, Übersee Music.

Career highlights include the club classic “Viva Colombia” (2002), produced with Chris Zippel under the alias namTRAK, the Beatport chart-topping “City of Gods” (2008), and “Stone Flower” (2019), all of which have become enduring favorites among DJs and electronic music fans worldwide.

In recent years, Namito has focused on modernizing traditional Iranian music by blending Persian vocals, melodies, and cultural influences with contemporary electronic production. The result is a distinctive sound that resonates strongly with the Iranian diaspora while introducing Persian musical heritage to audiences worldwide.

Born in Tehran and based in Berlin since 1985, Namito has been DJing since 1989 and producing music since 1996. Three decades into his production career, he continues to bridge cultures through music, proving that electronic music can transcend borders while preserving cultural identity.
